OUR PROJECT IN A NUTSHELL

This a collaborative, student-centered interactive project between the IES Azcona Secondary School in Almeria in Spain and the 2nd Junior High School of Syros in Greek. Its primary goal is to bring both Spanish and Greek students in touch with aspects of their cultural heritage while at the same time using the traditional post.

OUR GOALS

Study the list and find more about our project! Our main goals are the following: To help students improve their writing skills and discover a more old fashioned way to communicate instead of using just mobile phones. To enhance cross-cultural understanding as students feel free to share personal experiences, traditions and customs. To improve their language skills in English and even Spanish. This can be achieved through authentic letters exchanges To encourage Creativity and Expression through building interanational friendship. To promote digital competence as students use some webtools to do some tasks. To teach safe and effective online communication when using digital platforms. To develop empathy and tolerance as students learn different lifestyles and perspectives but also to collaboate with different people . To celebrate European citizenship
